anyon know of a link to a tabulation, or should I just learn it by ear?

(pleasepardon thiskyboard whose'e' and 'space' kys are very unreliable :()

Ah yes, I've seen that piece of sheet music before. IMO, it ain't entirely accurate (the beginning's different), but it's close enough. I learned how to play that version on my recorder (I need to record myself some time for y'all to hear it.)

I've played it on my soprano recorder, and it sounds pretty good. Then I decided to try it on my tenor recorder, and it's hauntingly beautiful. Picard's flute is more like a soprano recorder, but the richer, deeper tone of the tenor is amazing.

Where did you get the full version? I'm not thrilled with the free version, and the one I picked out by ear isn't perfect, either.

Also, does anyone know where to get some of Harry Kim's clarinet and oboe pieces from Voyager? I'm especially fond of the one he wrote for the void.

The free version given above is fairly close, but I think the obviously wrong octaves are that way to accomadate a D tin whistle.
So if you're playing a C recorder (as I recall there's a Bb-B below the C) you'd play the first measure an octave lower, as that is what the melody does - jumps up to the G, not down.

For tin whistle you've got a difficult problem - you could use an A whistle, but you'd have to use a half-hole technique to get a C natural out of it.
