The Hulk's live-action status?

So far Marvel's done a nice job connecting all the recent movies they've been making. Iron Man gave us SHIELD and the Avengers Initiative, Hulk continued by having Stark show up and reference "We" from the end of his film and the stuff used on Blonsky is the Super-Soldier serum used to make Captain America (who is getting his own movie soon). Now they need to do some connections for the Thor movie and we'll be set for Avengers (which can intro Wasp and Ant-Man).

I'd rather the Hulk wasn't in The Avengers.

He's been integral to the team's formation in both of the main Marvel universes. Plus he's my favourite character.

I say keep a good thing going, why change it. :)

anyone in avengers would be great really. anyone... except that annoying character with claws and adamantium that is in EVERYTHING. god i hope they don't include that thing.

^ They couldn't even if they wanted to. Fox still own the rights to Wolverine and the X-Men, whereas the Avengers will be made by Marvel's own production company/ studio.

Which is actually a bit of shame, because a WWII-set Captain America movie is a film where a Wolverine cameo would be appropriate.

Fictitiously yours, Trent Roman

The Hulk will always be hampered by being a movie in which the main character is only as good as the special effects technology creating it. Have you tried watching the first Hulk flick recently? Even ignoring the lame storyline, the monster FX are pretty damn bad. It's cartoonish.

Disagreed, the FX (especially in the desert scene) are still better than anything the new movie came out with. PLUS, they did something with that Hulk that they couldn't do in the movie. They had him ACT. And EMOTE.

Regardless I enjoyed both movies and really hope that things can be worked out by the time Avengers is put together.

I'm another one that thought the Hulk in 2003 looked much better than the one in last year's movie.
It strange how diffrent people's perceptions can be...I don't mean you're wrong or I'm right...it's kind of an opinion thing I guess.
