What I love is that at the end of the episode Gowron seems to have developed some grudging respect for Quark (something Worf never managed to do). It's the same feeling I got when little cadet Nog told Martok and his men to move along and Marok said, "Courage comes in all sizes." I like it when Klingons recognizes that a true warrior spirit/bravery doesn't actually have anything to do with physical strength. It's actually easier to be braver when you're strong.

Martok seemed to like Quark too, he got why he wanted to come along on the dangerous explody sun thing in Shadows and Symbols.

Worf was just prejudiced against the Ferengi, he could barely even stand Nog.

Maybe. Although he did threaten to hang Quark by his ears, over the theft of the cloaking device.
