Now the eternal question... When to take the decorations down??
The Holiday Season. It has....begun.

I usually wait until after January 1st. Too exhausted to do it before that.
Christmas season lasts till January 6, which is Three King's Day.
My hubby's birthday is 1/10, so we usually take them down right after that.
Made it all the way through Christmas without getting hit by Whamageddon.

I actually can't remember the last time I got sent to Whamhalla. I think it's been two or three years at least.
So, I like my Santas on the old-fashioned side. I've had this one for many years.
This year, my mom got me 2 for Christmas!

I was going to wait for Epiphany, but Christmas season in our household will last until Both of Us Have the Day Off and Can Muster the Energy Day. It's a lesser known holiday, very rare, and it's filled with household chores. It's a holiday no one likes.

"Winter" is only a vague concept here in Phoenix, but I do miss the lights when they're gone.
