Weird fricking farce movie.

An alien war lord chooses not to destroy the Earth because music is cool. They don't have music where he comes from. He founds a one man folk rock band and starts a family. The movie begins years later when an assassin from back home is sent to get rid of him for failing to dispense with the Earth like he was told to.

Yes. Saw it. Liked it.

I only described the first 5 minutes.

The story really gets out of control from there.

I haven't seen it yet, but this review makes me want to.

If nothing else, it sounds like it would be different, and I'm in the mood for something different.
