THE HAPPY BOTTON RIDING CLUB

I'm a big aerospace history buff. All my vacations seem to involve some sort of museum or historic place to aviation (and I have a very patient wife).

I seem to be doing that a lot lately myself (or rather, with family when I go to visit them). In the past year, I've been to the Wright Brothers' workshop in Greenfield Village in Detroit, the National Air & Space Museum in DC (as my avatar demonstrates), and the Boeing factory tour and Museum of Flight in Seattle.

I thought it was a cool and I had no Idea that it was an actual place I thought it was totally fictional. basically I just what I read and see that has anything to do with the double e. and speaking of the EE dose anyone know when the next tng book will be or be out?

I just transferred to Seattle when I got laid off from the space program. This area is full of rich aircraft history (thanks to Boeing, of course). The Museum of Flight is one of the best aviation museums I've been to an they are getting the space shuttle cockpit simulator from Houston soon. I'm highly looking forward to visiting Oregon for the Spruce Goose (It's the Hercules!!!)

I've been admiring your pic with the Enterprise in the A&S gift shop. I feel stupid that I didn't score any good pics of it when I was there. Of course between the lighting and glass case, it is hard to score a good shot of the model.

Make sure you visit Dayton for Hoffman Prairie and the USAF museum. Their collection is incredible; filled with many aircraft you cannot see anywhere else and difficult to do in a day. I also recommend Fort Rucker's helicopter museum in AL, the Naval Air Museum in Pensacola, FL and the Museum of Aviation at Warner-Robbins, GA. Of course, KSC in FL is a must; if I still worked there, I would have loved to have shown a Trek author the places most people don't get to see. Those are the great US aerospace museums.
