I watch good shows, thank you very much, expand your horizons, Mobile Suit Gundam is an anime, is VERY well written, (but was animated in the late 70's) and available on youtube, it's worth a watch, SEIG ZEON!
Moral Orel is a stop-motion animation from Adult Swim that lampoons the religious right, the first two seasons are episodic, and while touching on darker themes tend to end on a more positive note, the Finale being the exception, the third season revolves mainly around the events and fallout of the second season finale, but also has alot of charater introspection, exploring what makes alot of the charaters so damaged, it has a pretty feel good end though
