(Personally, I saw a copy of this picture subtitled in German, although there seems to be an English version in existence, too.) " We are introduced to Paul and Mariela, two television reporters, who find themselves entangled in the myth of the Kharisiri, a mythological figure from the Aymara region, who is said to extract all body fat from his/its victims as a sacrificial offering to the earth and who can take the form of any animal.
After a series of (unfortunate and) counterproductive events, that put Mariella´s life in danger, who has become possessed by this strange entity, Paul turns to a (traditional) healer in order to save his companion. Thus, the myth of the Kharisiri, (presented) through various trances and rituals becomes the central theme of the film."
