The Greatest Movies of All-Time (Yea or Nay)

Yea.

The Mystery Of The Kharisiri ( El Misterio Del Kharisiri, Peru, 2004))

[ http://www.comunidadandina.org/servicios/cine_peru.htm ]

{Unfortunately, I was unable to find any English language based web-side containing a description of the film´s content. (Personally, I saw a copy of this picture subtitled in German, although there seems to be an English version in existence, too.) Therefore, I translated from the the Spanish website listed above, to the best of my abilities. Please feel free to correct any translational mistake I might have produced.}

Content description:

" We are introduced to Paul and Mariela, two television reporters, who find themselves entangled in the myth of the Kharisiri, a mythological figure from the Aymara region, who is said to extract all body fat from his/its victims as a sacrificial offering to the earth and who can take the form of any animal.
After a series of (unfortunate and) counterproductive events, that put Mariella´s life in danger, who has become possessed by this strange entity, Paul turns to a (traditional) healer in order to save his companion. Thus, the myth of the Kharisiri, (presented) through various trances and rituals becomes the central theme of the film."

I'm always quietly stunned when Admiral2 and I agree on a movie. I'm pretty sure this has only happened three or four times if that.

Heh.

Yea to The Incredibles.

Tokyo Twilight.
