The Good Wife

They did have a huge ongoing (passive aggressive?) fight, which is why the two actresses could not be in the same room to film a scene together for (more than) 60 consecutive episodes. It was just easier to give them separate sides of the lot and pretend that everything was alright, than to see what would happen if these women got within 5 feet of each other.

Even their final scene 'together' was just a hack job. They really hated each other.

The ad for next week's Good Wife had

Alicia and Jeffrey Dean Morgan making out and a brief glimpse of Elsbeth.

I think I'm more excited for the latter than the former.

I enjoyed the last episode a lot. A nice balance between the story and some comic relief.

(Sorry.)

That guy (Jason), in bed ####ing Alicia this week, played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan quite a while ago portrayed John Winchester in the first two seasons of Supernatural, where he was Sam and Dean's assholy, tough as nails father.

If Alicia and Jason had a baby together, it would be the fourth Winchester brother, and work towards screwing over a few really important prophecies.

Ah now I get the reference. Thanks

I remember this, Jeffrey Dean Morgan was recurring on 2 successful shows but had to choose one. He chose one so John Winchester dies. Next thing you know the other show kills his character as well. I don't know if that was the case, but it seemed like it.

John had to die for the boys to grow up.

Kissing Katherine Heigl actually seems more appealing now that it is common knowledge that she is a venomous kraken.

(The other show was Gray's Anatomy)

Well, we know why the show's ending now. Alicia won't be a wife much longer.

Great moment between Jason and Peter.

Also, points for using the Ben Harper song with Cary's desire to escape the in-firm political manuvering and betrayals. I'd want to "Burn One Down" too.

So, how did you find the ending?

For me, it was a "Meh..." feeling. Alicia came a long way, I would have liked for her to have the courage to be happy (I am not talking about Jason).

I blinked and the ending credits happened.

I must have missed some mind shattering revelation.

Meh?

It was a great episode, but hardly a final, where all the plots are tied off where the boy and girl prance off into the sunset.

Jason is a nothing from 5 minutes ago.

#### Jason.

(Actually? If I really had to... )

I have the episode on file I can rewind, but I was so pissed that this finale snuck up on me, that I couldn't be bothered.

The actress who played grace was on the new Greys Anatomy clone medical drama "Heartbeat" the other night. Nice to see them all getting work after...

(Saw some sitcom yesterday "If my husband goes to jail, I'm not going to be the Good Wife, I'm dumping his ass.)

The finale was terrible.

Alicia has alienated Diane after finally rebuilding her friendship and trust and entering into a partnership with her again, and possibly has taken Luca down with her this time. I can't see Diane wanting to work alongside them at the firm any more after they did that to her and her husband, regardless of the reasons.

We got no closure on the Alicia and Jason situation.

They vaguely imply that Alicia has political aspirations again by Eli saying he's diverting Peter's (often corrupt) donors over to Alicia, but then if she wants to walk the Earth with El Mysteriouso and never settle down because he doesn't like to stay in one place she can't exactly become a politician.

They want us to believe that she broke the habit of being The Good Wife because she walked away from Peter and didn't hold his hand after the press conference, but she's still defining herself by who she's with at the time instead of going her own way and making others respect her decisions. She still alienated her friend and possibly left another one with no room for advancement at the firm all to get Peter a more reduced sentence, and she was still willing to throw it all away for the most flaky boyfriend in history, who couldn't even wait out the final day of the trial for her.

Then we spend a third of the episode on imaginary conversations with Will instead of spending more time dealing with the real and present problems and decisions she has. Uggh.
