There hasn't been a transfer policy since Ferguson and Gill left. It's been nothing more than sign random players (based on really important criteria like potential social media clicks, whether the manager has worked with them before, getting in ahead of some other club etc), throwing a shirt at them and hoping for the best. It's worked out about as well as one would expect. Yes, they've spent a crapload of money on players but almost all of it has been wasted (I mean, Antony ffs. What an absolute joke of a signing, and that's just one example). The weird thing is that it isn't like the club haven't spent a shit ton of money since the Glazers bought it. Their transfer policy is all over the place though.
That level of success can't be maintained forever but too many people - Ratcliffe included - babble on about getting the club "back where we belong". No club is entitled to success. It has to be worked for and earned. Too many people associated with the club seem to think those steps can be left out or aren't necessary. And as you rightly say, success is relative anyway. Far too many people associated with United (including plenty of fans) don't seem to have a grasp of that concept, either.
Games that are scheduled to air live on USA don't simulcast on Peacock; you can only watch a replay of the game later there. I think it's designed to protect the cable network and drive eyeballs there--and to make you want to pay for cable if you aren't already so that you don't miss any games.I see that Peacock carries some PL matches live, and others not...I wonder why.
(for example this last Liverpool / Newcastle match, I could watch it live but most others make me wait a day)

Amazing how well the TV images get overseas but seem to fail to get clear images to the VAR officials when Livervarpool play![]()
ha I know, that's what I meant to put, bloody autocorrect I thinkThere needs to be a half agree/half "fuck you" emoji response!
Fully agree with your point re: VAR officials but also want to be a dick due to calling us Livervarpool (especially due to it sounding better as LiVARpool)
You are doing well although I think your win at Liverpool was a better one, United are a big club but not a good team, it wasn't a shock at all Forest are a better team right now.My Nottingham Forest won away 3-2 at Old Trafford for the first time since Brian Clough was manager if memory serves. We now sit 5th in the table after 15 games and European football for the first time since 1996 seems a distinct possibility. Not bad for a club that finished 17th & 16th after being away from the PL for 23 years.
