Only ten? That's nothing! My 'to read' pile is about ten books deep already, but I'll get to them eventually.Oh, do check out the novels. I've just finished the first one and loved it to death.![]()
Seriously, though, I'm in pretty much the same situation. I saw the original film a few weeks ago and immediately wanted to rush out to buy the books, but I'm currently unemployed so trying to conserve money. Now that classes have resumed, my second intention to finally go get a new library card has been pushed to the backburner too.I'm hesitantly optimistic, if that makes any sense, for the remake, and only due to Fincher's involvement do I have any optimism after having seen the original. I'm looking forward to seeing The Girl Who Played with Fire when a local independent theater gets it in sometime coming up, since there doesn't seem to have been a Region 1 DVD release for Netflix to stock. Dragon Tattoo was easily one of the five best films I've seen this year so far.
