It's a big month for everyone and although the first 7 days are over, the best is yet to come:
LittleBigPlanet
Media Molecule/SCE | PS3 | NA: 21/10 EU: 22/10 AU: 22/10 UK: 24/10
It's extremely difficult to find information on this game. All I managed to rustle up was this single, solitary image. Who knows?
_________
Disaster: Day of Crisis
MonolithSoft/Nintendo | Wii | EU/AU/UK: 24/10
Better late than never, Monolith's interactive take on the one-damn-thing-after-another action movie formula arrives with enough earthquakes, tidal waves and grizzly bears to save you a fortune in cheesy Hollywood disaster flicks. Will waggle save the day? Probably not, but it looks like a blast anyhow.
_________
Fable II
Lionhead/Microsoft Game Studios | 360 | NA: 21/10 EU: 24/10 AU: 23/10
Peter Molyneux himself scored Fable II a mesmerising 9/10!
...Yeah, that's what I thought too.
_________
Fallout 3 (
Bethesda/Bethesda | PC/PS3/360 | NA: 28/10 EU: 31/10
Do you think they'll try to sell us zombie armour!? HA!
Yeah, yeah. It's Fallout 3, folks - what's left to say?
_________
Golden Axe: Beast Rider
Secret Level/SEGA | PS3/360 | Everywhere: 17/10
How do you resurrect a franchise that died 20 years ago? You take out a core element of the gameplay and make everyone play as a chick in bondage gear who rides around on these big ugly things.
_________
Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3
EA LA/EA | PC/PS3/360 | NA: 28/10 (360 & PC)
It has FMV with hot chicks who can't act, and it's not porn. Or Night Trap.
_________
Motorstorm: Pacific Rift
Evolution/SCE | PS3 | Everywhere: 28/10
Are you still compensating if the big cars with big engines are on your television screen?
_________
Dead Space
EA Redwood Shores/EA | PC/360/PS3 | NA: 14/10 (PS3/360) 20/10 (PC)
Shades of Bioshock and...some majorly scary shit. Play with the light on and teddy on your lap.
_________
Far Cry 2
Ubisoft Montreal/Ubisoft | PC/360/PS3 | NA: 21/10 EU: 24/10
Malaria is not cool, except in Far Cry 2 where you're kinda stuck with it. Don't try this at home.
_________
Rock Band 2
Harmonix/EA | PS2/PS3/360/Wii | NA: 14/10 (360), 18/10 (PS3), 19/10 (PS2), 18/10 (Wii) Australia: Never (LOL)
You play instruments and sing. Sometimes you do both.
_________
Valkyria Chronicles
SEGA/SEGA | PS3 | EU: 31/10
Capitalising things is cool, as Toshihiro Nagoshi discovered when using the proprietary CANVAS engine (thanks SEGA) to create the lovely aesthetic of this rather bizarre SRPG...thing.
_________
WiiMusic
Nintendo/Nintendo | Wii | NA: 21/10
Who cares?

That's all for this month, folks. The list isn't complete, but I hope most folks will agree that these are the highlights
