The following films are crap

biotech

Vice Admiral
Admiral
I haven't seen any of them, but I know they are crap, they must be, because I haven't seen them.

Iron man
LOTR all three
Harry Potter all of them
Titanic
Battleship Potemkin
Black hawk down
Million Dollar baby

I feel confident in describing them as crap, because I am just that clever.

In fact I am so confident and clever I will go into any thread where people actually claim to like them, and say those people are stupid, making excuses for the director, or just plain lying.

Plus I will use over the top words I would never use in real life to back up my statement.

I might even throw in a few "raped my childhood" remarks.

Because god knows, its not war, terrorism, and climate change that are important in the world, its being cleverer than other people because you chose not to see a film that they stupidly went to see.

Soo...you're off your meds then...:techman:

You forgot to say The Dark Knight. ;)

No, I'm not really qualified to slag that film off in a clever way, since I've actually seen it, I would have to use reason, and logic, and what place do they have in a film review?

I've come to the conclusion that the phrase "raped my childhood" is never used by anybody to indicate that any given object has actually done so.

Hooray strawman!

Titanic should not be on that list.

James Cameron thought that a Celine Fucking Dion track was the perfect way to round off Titanic. This to me is a perfectly valid reason to dismiss a film without watching it.

In fact it is hard to imagine a more valid reason.

My daughter insisted on getting Titanic. I'm not spoiling anything if I tell you the film consisted mainly of Leo DiCaprio shouting "This way!" whilst running around a set with people chucking buckets of water at them.

I should add, in the spirit of this thread, that I haven't seen

Iron man
Harry Potter all of them, and
Million Dollar Baby

and therefore declare them shite

I haven't seen one Tarantino film. I haven't seen them because I cannot stand him and I KNOW anything he makes will be four day old dog shit.

Wow - this is actually TRUE!!!!!

AWESOME thread!!!!!

Of course I was being ironic, but when my mum saw titanic, she told me after two hours she actually cheered the iceburg when it finally turned up.

I saw it because of my girlfriend at the time... and to be honest, by that point my brain had revolted and was off for a walk on it's own somewhere, I can't say I remember what happened through most of it, although my brain did enjoy its quiet little walk.

"Raped my childhood" is a perfectly valid thing to say about any Star Wars movie made after ROTJ.
