Spoilers The Flash - Season 2

So, they made a point of Caitlin not being a meta with Wells using her as a negative detection example...

That must have been deliberate to keep us guessing how she will get powers, if at all and Killer Frost is just her Earth 2 doppelgänger?
 
Wow, "Harry" Wells being a "diiiiiiick" was totally unexpected, definitely a ballsy move on the producers' part, and overall very fun, though I admit I miss the mentor Thawne-Wells...
 
For a brief moment he was, when Jay failed to help Barry and Wells stepped up to convince hin, he could so the speed mirage. That felt like old times.
 
I want to see Joe give the inspirational "There are Multiple Earths" Morning meeting speech ala Hill Street Blues to a bunch of doughnut stuffed Harvey Bullock lookalikes.

There was a hell of a lot to love about this episode. The character interactions were all spot on. I love the new "dick" Wells, and his impact on the heroes. The initial reactions from everyone were completely believable, and I love how he seems to have no time for niceties, he just gets straight to the point. Even exposing Cisco's secret because he believed that they didn't have time to be pussyfooting around when Cisco's abilities could help them get the job done.

Liked how Joe's first call (after trying to fill Wells full of lead) was to go and tell Iris about Wells to make sure she was in the know. Shows the character progression from where they were this time last season. Her reaction to first seeing Wells was played perfectly. Especially when she actively thanked him later in the episode. And I loved how she stood up against Light in Linda's defence.

I can totally see why Jay is afraid and reluctant to help Barry go up against Zoom. He was a hero on E2 because he beat stock metas left and right, but once he came up against Zoom he felt completely out of his league. Seems like Jay's Flash didn't have the kind of support around him that Barry has, and as a result had no mentor or backup to aid his fight against Zoom. Self-doubt has clearly crept in, and the near-defeat and loss of his speed has amplified that.

The "blind" date was adorable. I really like the Patty/Barry relationship. They clearly have great chemistry there. Wonder how long it will be before she finds out his secret.

This show really is firing on all cylinders at the moment.
 
From the voice of Zoom it sounded kind of like Tony Todd (Worf's brother). But it could have been Jesse L. Martin and would be very much cooler.
 
Theory: during last years finale we saw an image of Barry in jail, could that be Earth 2 Barry who was unjustly convicted of killing his father, who unbeknownst to everyone was actually turned into Zoom?
 
I didn't even think of Henry being Zoom, but that would be great on so many levels. First the whole meta (no pun intended) idea of John Wesley Shipp playing a speedster, to the in universe idea of Barry having to face off with an evil doppelganger of his father.
 
I've often thought it would've been cool to see a version of "Flash of Two Worlds" with Shipp-Flash and Gustin-Flash. If Zoom is Henry/Shipp, that'd be as close as we could get to that.
 
having a family member turn out to be an evil speedster is not out of the question considering one of the past comic storylines.
 
Zoom is Earth 1 Henry Allen pretending to be Earth 2 Henry Allen possessed by Hunter Zolomon.
 
I know I'm alone in this but I think Zoom is Eddie, well Earth2's Eddie. And of course Wells is working for him since he has Wells' daughter.
 
I doubt it. The actor who played Eddie is on Quantico right now, so he probably wouldn't be able to on very much. We also already got our Thawne Speedster with Reverse Flash, so I doubt they would go that way again.
 
So Tony Todd voice is Zoom's regular voice after it's been shook up?

Think about that.

Tony's real voice sounds like it's distorted by the Speedforce.
