Spoilers The Flash - Season 2

They look good to me...fitting in with the Arrowverse aesthetic while keeping the characters' distinctive flair. I'd heard Hawkwoman would be in this, but I didn't realize they were doing Hawkman as well.

The helmets are more compact than the comics and cartoon versions I've seen. I think they're terrific costumes.

Yeah, I don't think they could gone any smaller, while still keeping them recognizable as Hawkman and Hawkgirl.

I really wish they would release TV series like Arrow, The Flash, The Originals, ect. earlier so people could have enough time to work their way through the seasons slowly. I'm not really the kind of person who can just sit and binge a show for hours on end, after about 3 or 4 episode I tend to be ready to move on to something different. I usually take a couple weeks at least to work my way through stuff on Netflix & Amazon Prime, while rotating them with new stuff online.

^It's odd... normally two actors aren't allowed to use the same professional name, and since this Vanessa Williams had registered that name first, the former Miss America went by Vanessa L. Williams professionally. (I'm disappointed to learn that; I always thought it was a gracious gesture on her part to make the concession despite being the far more famous one.) But apparently they've both now been given leave to use "Vanessa Williams" professionally, which is weird. Why wouldn't they appreciate the clarity?

(Heck, the reason I use my middle initial professionally is that I wanted to make it clear that I wasn't the Christopher Bennett who's the son of Star Trek movie producer Harve Bennett. Although in more than a decade of writing Trek tie-in fiction professionally, only one person has ever asked if I was related to Harve Bennett.)

On a similar note there are currently two actress named Peyton List. The one I was familiar with plays Lisa Snart on" The Flash" and had a reoccurring role on "Mad Men".

But a younger actress with that same name stared on a Disney Series called "Jessie". Apparently SAG screwed up. That is her real name. While actress on "The Flash" signed up using her middle and last name. She has a story on that about how they stayed at the same hotel and there was a mixup with their call sheets. http://www.accesshollywood.com/a-ta...ous-name-with-other-peyton-list_article_85502

Wow, I would've thought "Peyton List" was such an unusual name that having two of them at the same time would be very unlikely.

That is weird. I had assumed there were rules against actors/writers/ect using the exact same name like that.

I can't wait. I'm actually getting off work early enough tonight that I'll be able to watch it live.

2x01...

- I thought that was Bane at first.

- Didn't like the bat signal joke. Comic book? Batman is real in this universe dammit!

- I was wondering how they'd get Shipp off the show, or at least prevent him from being around all the time.

- Is this the end of Ronnie now that Amell's career is taking off?

- I wonder how they'll bring back Harrison Wells. An alternate perhaps?

We've pretty much known Amell was gone at some point from the Legends of the Future news that has been coming out.

Man, until tonight I didn't realize how much I missed having a superhero that wasn't being hunted as a vigilante by the authorities. The key to the city scene actually made me a little misty.

This season is off to a great start!

Very impressed tonight. One of the best episodes of the series. They were able to cover a lot of ground in a single episode.

Interesting how the one clip of Robbie Amell released before airing was Barry's dream. Which let his fate be vague. I thought it was effective how they jump ahead 6 months since the finale but still made it clear how it was resolved in flashbacks.

I thought it was nice that Caitlin works for Mercury Labs now. I am assuming while she is back to helping Barry at the old Star Labs, she will still have her new job too. It was great to hear a mention of Dr McGee. While its unlikely she will be a regular like Christopher and I hoped the door is definitely open for her to be a reoccurring presence on the show.

It was nice to see Vito D'Ambrosio as Mayor Bellows again. Plus in a much larger role this time. Its appropriate that it was him awarding the Flash. On the original series his Officer Bellows was one of the Flash's biggest supporters and fans.

This was a pretty good episode. The whole "I must work alone to protect my family and friends" thing is a bit cliche, but they got it all out in one episode, so its not a big deal. The Firestorm thing wasn't surprising, but it was done well. I liked the villain, it was cool to see his kind of powers on a TV show. Overall, this was a good start of what I think is going to be a great season.

:( The ending got me all choked up when Daddy Allen decided to leave Central City, but he did it in the best interest of his son.

When I saw Cisco working for the CCPD and Caitlyn working at another lab, I thought STAR Labs was destroyed by the singularity. I'm glad the whole gang got back together, sans Eddie, Ronnie, and Wells, of course.
