The Flash - Season 1

And they finally confront the ethical problems with the prison, although it's a bit awkward for Joe to say he's been objecting this whole time when we didn't actually see him doing so.
 THIS!

I've always thought that he should have vocally objected. I feel like Joe is taking credit for my idea!

I got a blast out of seeing Flash working together with the Snarts, although I was not at all surprised they doublecrossed him in the end.
I was glad to see them finally address the ethical issue of the Pipeline prison. I wonder if this was a part of the long term plan, or if they did this in response to fan complaints.
I did not expect Joe and Eddie to actually be at S.T.A.R Labs.
I got a kick out of the fight at the end. I was surprised they actually beat and caught Reverse Flash, I'm assuming we must get a lot of face to face stuff with him and the team next week.

JD, be careful about starting every sentence with the word "I", it's psychologically revealing.

Wouldn't you believe that some one from the 25th or 30th century be carrying his own colony of nanites, that would laugh their ass off at 500 year old generation one nanites?

Hmmm.

Although, it seems that Eobard could have accidentally lost his nanites with vibrating or running through walls.

It's always cool seeing Barry and Ollie together and it's nice that Barry for once thought ahead even thought cold double crossed him. Too bad about Eddie though, but then I still think he'll sacifice himself in the end, he's got so little to live for now. I have to wonder if Wells even planned losing to Barry somehow.

That depends on your definition of "winning".

Causality doesn't seem to matter, but Barry is still needed too much to be killed for his crimes.

HA!

The jails cells are temporal transit capsules.

Eobard wants to be stuck in one, to go home.

On the timeline questions of both Arrow and the Flash. I just saw posted on a fan site that the episode numbers for both shows were supposed to line up for airing. But the CW preempted the Flash one week more than expected and threw everything off. They listed no source for that so I am not sure if it is true. But it makes sense. The first crossovers were aired the same week and also the mid season breaks too. But now Arrow's finale is before the Flash.

Last night's Arrow episode seemed to confirm that that two shows are still airing in proper chronological sequence. When the Flash showed up in the teaser, he said he couldn't stay to help because he was overdue for a pointed conversation with Harrison Wells. So "My Name is Oliver Queen" evidently does take place between "Rogue Air" and "Fast Enough." Though I think that the climax of "Rogue Air" must have taken place sometime early in "This is Your Sword," so that was a little out of sync. There just wasn't time between "Sword" and "My Name" for Oliver to get away from Ra's and come to Central City.

I thought it was a bit of a cop out, this pointed conversation, once they knew what they were looking for, Barry could have cleared Starling City of the four carriers in 2 minutes...

Is there? The EPG doesn't seem to show it...

ETA- oh, it does now. Last night the slot for the scheduled recording just said "searching for next series"

Actually, if the Grodd episode is the last one you saw, then you have two more episodes left.

That treadmill has been sitting there in the lab far too long to not be a Plot Point in the season finale.

Nice trailer and some points i noticed.

- Apparently the particle accelerator Wells/Thawnw rebuilt is a perfect way to gain time jump speed (less distractions from outside elements like weather, traffic and such)

- We will probably see the pivotal fight betwen Flash and Reverse Flash, i thought they might postpone it to a later season (there was also a slight costume change in that fight, don't know if they will incorporate this into this fight)

- I REALLY want to know why Thawne hates Barry so much to go through all this, what has happened or will happen?

This promises to be a good finale for the first season and i am really looking forward to it.

I suspect we're watching the end of Thawne's career launching the beginning of Barry's.
