The Five(ish) Doctors Reboot

Davison and Eccleston are frequently misspelled by fans, and I've become desensitized to them. If I'm replying to someone who misspelled their names and I quote the message, I'll quietly fix the misspelling.
I quietly fix every typo in every message I quote, and I'm feeling very guilty about it. :borg:

Did you fix something in mine? If you did, don't feel guilty. I type quickly and Opera didn't highlight the word. :)

I never feel guilty about fixing a misspelling. No journalistic rules are being violated. :)

How is "Eccleston" typically misspelled? I suppose "Ecclestone" might be common. "Eckelston?"
Yea, Eccelstone is a very common mis-spelling.

Allyn, was David Eccelstein meant to be Tennant or Eccelston? LOL, that is pretty bad for an actual BBC Exec, it would almost be understandable with a Classic Era Actor, but, how can they mangle a Current Era Doctor actor so badly?

He was talking about Tennant. And I have no idea where and how he got "Ecclestein." :)

Are you sure you weren't pranked by Tennant himself? ;) It sounds as if he's using the name here:

On a related note, I find it interesting that for her producer credit she's listed as "Georgia Tennant" since David Tennant is also a stage name (his real name is David McDonald).

And a piece of trivia that I always enjoy sharing with people is that Tennant chose his stage name after reading an article in Smash Hits magazine about the Pet Shop Boys (the singer's name is Neil Tennant).

As a fan of both Doctor Who and Pet Shop Boys, I get a kick out of the connection between the two. :)

I just rewatched it last night. I think another thing I really am amused by are the t-shirts the three wear with their costumes.

I would totally wear Colin's. Are those commercially available?

I remember when that happened. I think Tennant says "David Eccleston," though. :)

Yes they've been around for a few years (not sure if they still are) a friend of mine has a Tom one I think :)

It's not selfish to buy yourself a christmas present, is it?
