The Final Scene

I don't know if this has been covered, but what would be the best final scene in your opinion.

I'd like to see Jack (as the new Jacob) and Flocke sitting on the beach, paralleling the early Man of Faith vs. Man of Science debates between them. Then overhead, another plane comes crashing down, then...LOST.

What do you want your last scene to be?

A lot of people have jokingly said it will be the LOST screen but I'm betting we'll get something else.

I think, like Canadaboy, it will end with Jack (as the new Jacob) sitting on the beach looking out over the water, but I think it will be Sawyer (as the new MIB) who will come walking out of the Jungle to sit next to him.

Sawyer: "You brought them here, didn't you?"

As I posted elsethread, it should end with Desmond and Penny waking up in bed together and Desmond telling Penny he just had the strangest dream....(ducks!)

Or, if they want to go risque, Jacob and MIB wake up in bed together...

Old Locke telling young Lock that he is going to re-settle his people on a different part of the island, and young Locke taking his position as first officer and Warping off into... ah heck

I was thinking before season six that it should end where we started, on Oceanic 815, but we got that in the premeire.

I can see Sawyer and Jack on the island as a tidy way to start a new Jacob/MIB cycle, but I hope that isn't how they go - I want them to break free from the playpen.

It's a bit perverse but I'd be happy seeing it end on some left-field, fucked up mystery. Answer our major questions, complete the character arcs, but then end on Vincent sitting in Jacob's cabin or something.

Okay, crap idea, but I think Lost has given us so much mystery over the course of the show that having everything tied into a neat little bow would seem strange.

How about a "Twin Peaks" ending?

Everything seems happy and finished. The MIB is dead, the Island permanently moved to safety, all the Losties have escaped back to the real world. Sawyer & Kate get married. Hurley is no longer unlucky or crazy, Jack is happy back doctoring, Sun & Jin are back in Korea with their kid, Claire is back with Aaron and her Mother. Everything is great. The perfect happy ending.

Then for the last shot, of the last scene, of the series Jack walks in to the bathroom of his house and reflected in the mirror isn't his image, but the image of the MIB. "Jack" begins to laugh evilly.

The MIB escaped using Jack. And now the world is doomed!!

Cut to black.

I don't know how it should end, but I think it will probably end the way the season began, with the CGI underwater island tour.
