News The Falcon and the Winter Soldier Updates

I love Carl Lumbly in everything he does (especially The Adventures of Buckaroo Bonzai Across the 8th Dimension and a very particular episode of The West Wing), so I would be just happy to have him on the show. I've never read anything with Isiah Bradley other than flashbacks in Christopher Priest's short-lived The Crew, but Lumbly seems like a great person to portray him.

If he is playing Isaiah Bradley that would give us three different Captain Americas, or similar characters, in the series, Sam Wilson, John Walker and now Bradley.

Very highly recommended. Physical copies are pricey, but its only $1.99 per issue digitally. However, if Isaiah appears in FaWS then a re-print edition will probably soon follow.

Bucky was also Captain America in the comics.

This show has some bad luck. You would assume they'll just try to find some stand-in location that they can film at somewhere in the state of Georgia, but at this point, you wouldn't blame them if they delayed the show by a few months, just so they could film some of their outdoor action scenes properly.

That's a shame, but not to surprising given what's going on with all of the corona virus precautions.

I have to wonder if there is any point in going back to production on something like The Falcon and The Winter Soldier if they aren't going to be allowed to do any fight scenes.

That could definitely work, if the budget would allow for it.
I definitely want everybody to be safe, which is why I think they should just hold off starting anything until people can get close enough to do action scenes.
It would be easier to get away with everyone having everyone stay 6ft away in a character drama or sitcom, but I just have trouble seeing it working for an action series like this.
I guess animation would be a decent way around that, but it still would be quite the same.
