The Expanse Season 3

...But I'd rather wait until I can afford to buy a TV that gets the Internet, otherwise I'd have to watch everything on my PC.)

You can get a Roku, FireStick or ChromeCast for about $30-40 or an AppleTV for about $120. No need for a smart TV. I only recently bought a TV with internet apps and I still use the AppleTV exclusively.

Like @Asbo Zaprudder stated, you only need and HDMI port and a WiFi network with any one of these devices.

Edited... Never mind...

Also, most blu ray players have streaming capabilities. It's hard for me to imagine that someone doesn't have some kind of access to streaming to their tv. Hell, an old computer can hook up to a tv, and be used as a streaming device.

I have a 13-year-old cathode-ray TV. It has RCA and coaxial inputs, and that's about it.

Even with that, there is a way, but it will look like crap and add like $20 of converters to the price. Consider this - when you cancel cable, you will be able to save enough money to buy an HDTV every 2 months.

I think they must have discontinued it as neither product on their site supports anything but HDMI output as far as I can tell.
Are you outside the US? The model with composite output here in the US is the ''Roku Express+'' that I linked to. All their other models are HDMI only.

The older composite capable model, Roku 2 XS is available on Amazon UK,

Mine is about the same vintage.

Yep, for a few years we've been switching input cables for the Amazon Prime-enabled blu-ray player, PS2, & PS3 to the RCA jacks on the front of the TV. (The digital antenna goes in the back RCA jacks. Surprisingly, the coaxial input didn't look as good.) When we got a PS4, I found an HDMI-to-USB converter box, with a splitter cable that connects to the RCA jacks. Not pretty, but it works. I'm just not ready to spring for a new TV at this point. Partly because I know our DVD collection still looks good on the cathode ray TV, and I can't be sure that will still be true on a fancy new digital TV...

It will look a lot better. DVDs utilize progressive scan, which you cannot get when using RCA cables. The cheapest HDTV will provide better picture than anything the older TV can.

And after that we know Starfleet invests in inertial dampeners.

I was wondering if and how they were going to show that particular part of the book. Great job by the VFX team. I expected to see some simple blood spatter on the monitor or something like that without all the gory details.

God I hope Amazon picks up this series.
