The Expanse Cancelled - Again.

The Expanse is ending at season 6. That is two more seasons that ENT never got.

I have not read the novels but i heard there is a time jump of several decades in the later novels in the series. That might explain why they decided to end the Expanse at season 6.

The fact that there's a time jump in the story isn't a factor here, IMO, because of the fact that the authors of the novels are directly involved with the TV series and have demonstrated that they're willing to help change their own narrative in order to best serve the needs of the television medium.
