The Even Odds

I just finished "Rising Son", and was wondering if the crew of the Even Odds, the ship that Jake Sisko ends up on in that book, were featured in any other stories (either further on down in the DS9 Relaunch, or elsewhere). I thought that the ship's crew was one of the best parts about the book, and I think their adventures would make a really great ongoing novel series (there's probably no chance of that happening, but still, it's okay to dream, right?)

On a serious note, sadly we haven't seen the crew The Even Odds since Rising Son. I agree that they were one of the best parts of the book and I would love to seem them pop up again.

They have not appeared in any other book so far. However, I and some others believe certain things are being prepared for the future of the DS9 relaunch which may involve them.

I wonder if a six-volume eBook miniseries about the Even Odds wouldn't be feasible. A side-story, about adventures of the crew in the Gamme Quadrant, doing Firefly-like things, between Unity and the bleeding edge of the post-finale DS9 fiction. And it could explore the Gamma Quadrant status quo in ways that the fiction has scratched the surface of.

Does anyone know if there's somewhere I could find more info about the species that make up the Even Odds' crew besides the novel itself? I'm just curious.

Since it was the only place many of them appeared it would be the only source of new information. Any information you find would just be restating what was said in the book, most likely.
