The Enterprise

Hi All, :bolian:

Just wondering but does anyone think that we won’t be seeing the big-E in full glory till the movie hits the screens?
But however I bet we get to see a bunch of other Starfleet ships and if u take the warp nessys of this one and add them to star drive of that one and put the neck from the one over there and attach the saucer off this one here = the BIG-E :cardie:

Ok I nuts yes lol. But I wont be surprised if JJ does this to get everyone talking + it puts the mystery of what the ship looks like to keep everyone guessing till she is seen :vulcan:

I'm hoping so. I'd like to see them get all the way to release day without the audience knowing any more about the movie than they do today.

I think we will get a proper look at the Enterprise when the trailer comes out, And i think it would be nearly impossible to promote this movie properly without giving away anymore details.

We'll see the E pretty early: they've got a huge lead time involved in getting the toys and geegaws finalized and manufactured.

Well if the movie rumors surrounding the flashbacks to different eras is true we could be seeing the Enterprise fairly early in the movie. I think we'll see it in the trailer though like the other poster suggested. We pretty much saw a glimpse in the teaser so I don't think they'll be holding out on us. It wasn't long before we saw it in the Motion Picture...

Yeah, I agree. We'll probably see the full design very early, thanks to the product tie-ins.

You know, I'll bet the new Enterprise has a lot in common with Gabe's design. Just look at the image from the preview - a cowl over the bussard collectors, a small, flat, raised platform that the bridge dome sits on, a wide lower level on the dome and a small, upper bridge level with a bubble on top Even the placement of the name and registry number is the same.

I wonder if old Gabe got a kickback....

I just hope that nasty bump on the back of the bridge area is gone so the arguments about the bridge "really" sitting at an angle, and not facing foward will be over. :p

IIRC, there was a prototype toy of the new/old Enterprise seen in Europe - Germany maybe? I don't think we'll have to wait for the movie to come out before some young...er...enterprising young spoiler whore grabs a pic of the old girl with his cell phone camera and it will spread across the internet like the black plague.

Patience...all will be revealed soon enough...

Nice collection of 'spy' shots. I had forgotten there had been that many of them.

Those shuttles look really good. I hope that's an indication of just how 'real' this film will look in the end.
