I've tried to watch this new series, but I've just found it to be badly written and badly acted.

Morris Chestnut is severely miscast as the lead, written to be passionate and broken over the death of his fiancee. Chestnut plays it way too mellow, controlled and quiet. He's frankly boring.

The first five or so episodes have been all over the place. They introduce a mole character, show her to be several steps ahead of everybody, have Jennifer Carpenter's character figure it out and then kill her off. Chestnut's character has also gone from detesting Carpenter's to trusting her and having these heart to heart conversations in five episodes.

They've also haven't fleshed out any of the secondary characters, adding another one into a crowded team in the second or third episode. If this was a limited series, we could overlook that, but if this series is going to go a couple seasons, we can't have the team being stereotypes.

I'll stick with it, but the producers need to do some cleaning up.
