Does anyone remember this forgotten TV series from 1986 on ABC? It was on Saturday nights following the disastrous "Life with Lucy."
I happened to catch a few clips of the show on YouTube when looking for something else and found it hysterical. It starred Ellen Burstyn as a college professor whose daughter, played by a very young Meghan Mullaly, who comes back to live at home with her five year old son in tow after a bad breakup. Adding to the complications was Burstyn's meddling mother played by the great Elaine Stritch.
The show was cancelled after 13 episodes.
