The Eleventh Doctor's new costume revealed

Why HASN'T there been a fez-wearing Eleventh Doctor figure announced, hm? With mop?

Mark
saving it for Comic Con, or whichever event it is that has those exculsive action figures.

That reminds me, we have not heard from the Dalekettes recently, I wonder if they are changing there outfits to fit in with the new design Daleks. Lets face it if they dont the new Daleks would destoy them.

Now if this was the new costume there would be something to talk about: :)

I, for one, really like the new jacket because it greatly resembles the one I just got off Ebay for my 11 costume (used for Halloween here in the UK for my semester abroad, and probably whenever possible after that). I'll be all futuristic.:borg:

I rarely notice what Amy's wearing, I'm too busy ogling The Doc.

Matt Smith, however, has weird taste in clothing.

Who'd have ever thought that the Doctor's outfit would be the most normal thing the actor playing the part ever wears?

I bet he wears a fez sometimes...
;)
I bet you're right. I wonder what else he wears with it. (*cough* nothing *cough*) :adore:

He is a strange boy, but we love him...though obviously in VERY different ways
Aw c'mon, even my manly Who friend at work admits he's handsome. You know he is. :D

Well, if some of the old Who actors were stranger than their outfits, they'd have been locked up and not allowed out to play the role.

I think Smith just proves that they won't be able to get Tom Baker to cameo. Science, really. See, if Matt Smith and Tom Baker appear on the television screen, together, in the same scene, interacting, at the same time....well, television screens everywhere would simply implode from the sheer amount of awesome. It would be a black hole of charm, inherently chewing up all scenes around them. Not even David Tennant or Chris Eccleston could survive a scene of that magnitude. They'd get lost in the background noise of The Great and Worthy Bakersmith...

Which by the way is the same reason why Tom Baker didn't ever share the screen with Patrick Troughton: the whole universe would have instantly been turned into pure awesomium.

I think I could survive that! On the other hand, if Smith and Eccleston were ever on screen together, I would suffer a hormonal meltdown of epic proportions and they'd have to haul me away screaming incoherently and drooling in a straight jacket and padded truck and make me watch David Tennant's episodes until my hormone levels plunged back to normal (which wouldn't take long at all :ack: ).

On a sad note, what a shame we'll never get the 2nd and the 11th Doctor teaming up. That would've been something to see :)

Do right. I think The Trout would have been thrilled to have such a "understudy". To have his Doctor appreciated on such a level as to see a variation of it reflected back at him in 2010...I can't imagine the satisfaction and pride that would entail.

I hope he understood what he meant to fans before his death. One would assume he would, of course, since he died at a Doctor Who convention. Died surrounded by a building full of people that loved him. Not terrible, really... :techman:

:guffaw:

Yeah, Number Nine and Number Eleven...together. I'm not certain which one would be the most intimidating, really... ;)

Rumour has it that when he died a fan was showing him just how much she loved him.

Just a rumour of course.
