Midnight Oil was fairly popular in the US during the late 80s, especially 'Beds Are Burning.' That was one of my favorite songs when I was in junior high.

Looks like something out of a horror flick.

It does, doesn't it? I saw a similar photo that was taken from further back, and you could see the entrance reflected in a puddle. It looked really spooky.

But now I have the Pet Shop Boys' song "Luna Park" stuck in my head...

Apparently there's another one on the way, though not so severe. It's night now, an the wind hasn't arrived yet, so if anything interesting happenms in the morning I'll post some pics.

Yep ... I've been hearing reports from friends on facebook about it in Townsville and other areas of Queensland. Doesn't seem to be as bad as the one on Wednesday.
