"The Doomsday Machine" Remastered Constellation question

darkwing_duck1

Vice Admiral
I don't have access to this remastered ep, nor have any of the screencaps I've found show what I need to know.

In the scene where Kirk orders Scotty to fire the phaser bank he has recharged, in the original ep it fires one beam. Does it in the remastered ep as well, or does it fire two?

If possible, I could use a cap of the fx shot in question as well...I'm trying to settle an arguement over at Memory Alpha...

Yes, it does fire only one beam in the remastered version. I'll see if I can find a screencap.

[EDIT]

OK, couldn't find a screencap, but here's the FX reel on YouTube:

The single-beam shot is at about 3:19 on the counter.
