I probably have an image of Gambon buried in the back of my mind somewhere, but when I saw the trailer, the first thing I thought of was McKellan in the Magneto role.

Spiffing trailer.
If thats a new tardis takeoff concept then thats fantastic, but id rather it just be neat little trick for a one off scene.
Looks nifty so far.
Nor was there in Nine/Tens Tardis. It just looks cool INMHO.
I dont mind it to be honest, adds a little extra detail to the exterior prop.
However, it doesnt explain why only two bottom panes of glass are lit but the rest are not. Other than the fact it looks pretty cool like that.

Extremely tantalising, though the way they've used photoshops of previously released promo shots throws me as to how many of the elements from the teaser will actually make it into the final product.

You know, I did wonder briefly, because the way he says "Something's wrong" is exactly the way he said it in "Cold Blood". But I didn't recognize the rest from anywhere, so I figured meh, coincidence.

Thatll teach me to pay attention, then again, using only a blackberry phone for internet you tend no to read things properly cos its so tedeous.
Bloody good trailer, although at work after i posted, it did kinda flag up that not only are they still filming, but its 4 months away.

I'm actually interested to see Katherine Jenkins role in the special...I checked out a couple of CD's and she has a wonderful voice.

So when will the Christmas special air on BBC America? I am a new Doctor Who fan so I don't know when the previous Christmas specials aired in the US.
