Damn. Johnny Fever and Charlie Moore were a large part of my childhood. I recently came across an unopened copy of 'The Complete WKRP' and bought it knowing if I didn't someone else would. Gonna watch the pilot episode in his memory.

The Shout Factory DVD set has almost all the original music and material. Not cheap, but highly recommended.

Yes. Richard's still here, he just likes to be left alone, pretty much.
He lived/lives here in the greater Woodinville, WA area. At one of my previous jobs, he was a frequent customer and I helped him a few times with questions he had. I never said anything, but there were times I wanted to acknowledge 'Turkey's Away'.
I still sometimes make people respect the invisible walls and door around my desk in honor of Ohio AM radio's most decorated journalist.
