News The Disney+ (The New Streaming Service) Thread

They also added 8 Simple Rules, and The Finder. I have to admit, I'm a little shocked to see any of those on there, they seem like better fits for Hulu. I know there's nothing that bad in them, but they're just not really the Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, or Nat Geo style of shows you usually see on there.
Movie is out and I've watched about 1/3. Not really feeling the voices chosen for Chip(John Mulaney) and Dale(Andy Samberg) and the storyline isn't really connecting with me. I'm having a hard time figuring out the intended audience, it's just weird.

Also finding out that
Gadget and Zipper have gotten together and have fly/mouse hybrid children...

Umm.... yah.
Yeah, that's just weird.

It was alright but I’m going to have to take a few points by not having Jessica Rabbit in it.
The Randy Marsh cameo was the weirdest out of all of them.

Watched Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers. It's more fun to watch it with a six pack of beer. Not sure who the movie is for. It's a kids film but only adults will get the references. It's OK to watch to burn some time with the family or like I said, a six pack.

It's worth watching for the Sonic parts at least.

I'm only part way through the Rescue Rangers film, and while I don't really care about the story I am blown away by all the references and the stuff they managed to get. Roger Rabbit had to fight for everything, and only got most of the cameos because Spielberg was connected to the movie.

Rescue Ranger, just up to where I am, has

Everything from Batman to E.T. Thats not to say that the Disney owned references aren't cool, I'm probably the only one who was excited to see 90s Avengers cartoon Tigra, but I literally couldn't believe that they got batman, much less got to do a small scene with him and ET. then there is Ugly sonic, which I think might be the most ridiculous, unexpected cameo character ever, I don't know how you could really top him

Even if the movie is just kind of ok at best, its huge amount of references and cameos are definitely impressive.

The Spider-Man movies are on Disney+ in the UK now. I think that’s nearly all of them now. Just missing the Blade movies

Except for Spider-Man 3 (no big loss) and Far From Home. And No Way Home. And Into the Spider-verse. Or (cos someone will say it otherwise) the Nick Hammond ones.

Aside from those.

I think they’re still missing Fantastic Four (2005) too. And New Mutants.

And they’ve yet to make arrangements with Universal for Hulk and Incredible Hulk.

The Punisher films are also absent.

Who has the Howard the Duck rights?

Can you imagine if they sorted out and put up the Hasselhoff Fury TVM, or the Lundgren Punisher?

We havethe first Tim Story Fantastic Four movie and Fan4stic/on it here in the US, but not the Spider-Mans, or Rise of the Silver Surfer. I swear Rise of the Silver Surfer was on there at one point, but it's not now.

Far and No Way Home are rather new which could explain why they’re not on there. Spider-Man 3 is on Netflix currently

70s Doctor Strange TV movie? Japanese Spider-Mam? Electric Company?

What about the 70s Spider-Man series. Or the old Captain America movies? Or the Hulk television series? Or even the Marvel cartoons from the 60s/70s?
