This is one of those stories that is yet to see a DVD release-it's not in the best picture shape and the restoration team is apparentally working on it (I've heard it might have a DVD release later next year).
Daemons is the finale to season 8, or the season in which every single serial had the Master involved in some way. This serial has been referenced twice in the new series, as far as I know-In the Satan Pit the Doctor refers to the Daemons which facing the Beast (A similar entity) and one of Delgado's qoutes: "Destroy him...and you will give your power to me"-was used in Utopia as one of the previous Master voices in the Fob watch/Chamealeon arch. Also the Silurian two-parter used the plot of a small village surrounded by a shield. Unlike other serials which frequently had the Master "die" or vanish only to reappear with (Like in End of time) or without explanation in another serial (Planet of fire/Mark of the Rani for example), we have the Master captured by UNIT, which leads to the events of the Sea Devils in the next season.
In "Daemons" we have another Doctor Who version of the devil, and yet another "Fate of Atlantis".
It also has one of the most memorable Brig lines: "Chap with the wings there...five rounds rapid!".
