the CSI crossover

I tried to post this in the CSI area, but couldn't....

Now, I have never in my life watched an episode of CSI, any of them. Well, I tried once. It depicted a roller-coaster accident and the death of a lot of kids, so I stopped watching and never came back.

But I am into TV crossovers. So I am watching this CROSSOVER event. I havent seen part two yet, so don't spill anything. But once think I noticed? I don't care for David Curuso and I thought I would. I like Fishburne's character, but Coruso, curoso, oh hell, I just found him about as lively as a plastic cup.

Cant wait to see Lt. Dan from Forest Gump (I don't even know his name on this show) and how he adds to the mystery of trying to find this whacko killer hacking these girls up.

Yes... I forgot it was this week though. I need to catch up for tonight. I don't normally watch CSI:Miami or CSI:NY anymore though.

Its a utter failure so far. Maybe the anchor can bring it home. Miami was well Miami, my wife's favorite American show. New York was worse then their normal.

Is this really a trilogy. I haven't watched it, but know it's about one case but dealt with on three different shows. I would think a trilogy would be having all the casts together but really it's been CSI Miami and New York guest starring Lawrence Fishbourne.

There seems to be a grand conspiracy as the unidentified big bad is behind the events which lead to murders in three cities.

they are simply not murders though, its more than that.

Its down right sick that man kind does this sort of thing.

So why did the restaurateur bring a leg out from the desert to the everglades to feed to the bears and alligators in the first place?

No big bad, just a bad business and two text messages to link up the conclusions. :wtf:

I just watched all three back to back... it was rather underwhelming. I guess I expected something bigger and in the end it just turned out to be what amounted to a three part episode.

It's also strange that they chose Fishburne to anchor the crossovers... but I guess he's the biggest draw at this point between the three leads.

Which was fine with me, since I think he out acts both Russo and Senise...

But yeah, I expected more. It was kind of boring...

Yeah, that's how I felt, too. I think a serial killer would have been preferable to a sex trafficking story, which the shows have done so many times and which more often than not fall into the same routine (the exception being the CSI: NY ep last season that dealt with it).

Overall, I thought it was fine--but nothing spectacular and not as strong as regular eps for each series usually are.

I watched the trilogy and thought it was OK, not great. The writers created an instant bond between Horatio Caine and Ray Langston, and then between Mac Taylor and Langston. That seemed a bit corny. I was afraid that Caine and Langston were going to hug before they went their separate ways.

Well many years ago, Caine did shoot Langston to death. :)

I heard that the actors worked together previously in some movie.

David Caruso isn't meant to be lively. I love his character, firm, adamant, and compassionate. He exudes a strength of will and moral integrity that I find very interesting. And he is a cop, which fits the character quite nicely.

No he's not the Mentalist, nor is he a House, but he has his own kind of "I'm gonna get this guy" kind of intensity.

Plus he's really good at the whole "blah blah blah....(removes sunglasses)...witty remark yeaaaaahh" thing.
