The corniest film you inexplicably love

To this day I STILL don't understand why the "Why is there a watermelon there?" scene is supposed to be so damned funny. I don't get it at all.
What Jack Wolfe said, plus the fact that it's so random. The behind-the-scenes explanation was that the studio people really had no idea what Buckaroo Banzai was supposed to be, and kept sending back notes with the dailies on changes they wanted made. The watermelon bit was added in to see if they'd ask about it. When they didn't, the director knew the studio had stopped looking over his shoulder, and he could get on with making the movie.

Moonraker. James Bond isn't supposed to be corny... but when Roger Moore plays him here, he definitely is.

A standout scene...

Wasn’t that Peter Ustinov on the bridge?

This film was made with the cooperation of J Edgar Hoover's FBI so I think you can all guess just how realistic it is. That being said, it's Jimmy Stewart at his most earnest and I can't help but love it. It even features a voice cameo by an uncredited Adam West as a radio operator.

If you like old black and white movies, I recommend The Treasure of the Sierra Madre ( Humphrey Bogart, Walter Brennan), Harvey, all James Cagney movies (including the musical Yankee Doodle Dandy), All Edward G. Robinson movies, and the Thin Man movies.
Also, ALL of the Laurel and Hardy shows, the Marx Brothers, and The Three Stooges
