Had a bit of christmas money left over so got this from WH Smiths at the weekend.

Have to say my opinion of it varied greatly the longer it went on. Hated the first episode, thought the second was hilarious (I'm a great defender of Classic Who's effetcs but still, The Doctor and Jo being chased by a man trapped in a duvet?)

The last two episodes were really good though (Maybe I just needed to acclimatise to the 70s?) and I especially loved the rapport between both the Doctor and the Brigadier, and between the Doctor and The Master.

Loved the Master's exasperation at how clapped ou the Doctor's TARDIS is.

Just out of interest, at what point does the Doctor regain full use of the TARDIS? I thought it was at the end of the Three Doctors but I'm not sure.

One final word about Jo, God she's awful, and yet for some reason I love her...can't imagine why, nothing to do with a skirt so short you can see her pants... :guffaw:

Isn't this the one that featured the guy doing the really horrible American accent? :)

Yeah, I think it was The Three Doctors. Before that I think the Timelords would ocassionally draft him for an off planet mission.
