And a pet peeve: the voice over is horribly mixed...I hate what I can tell it's some guy in his room talking into a hand held mic.

Makes if very fan filmish.

I thought they did a good job. I liked that bit at the end, where they made it look like Jim Dale was fiddling with the Dalek.

The lighting and colours used in the cgi bits is rather impressive at times. Looks authentic for the period.

Christopher Lee vs Dalek! Brilliant, and I loved the Jim Dale bit at the end as well and the Dalek emerging from the sand was quite good.

Probably a fair approximation of how it would have been made/advertised at the time, and I love the idea of Jim Dale as the Doctor's companion!

Oh yes, and starring Angela Douglas as the love interest

BTW, I'm guessing the Dale/Douglas bits were from Carry on Screaming but I could be wrong.
