The canon wars support group!

I know right now we have all most likely felt some canon war fatigue as this point. You can't go one thread without a canon war battle break out. Even the the head canon people have been pulled into the conflict. All they most likely wanted to do is pretend the novels are connected and before you know it they are having to debate prime universe and 3rd universe and Kelvin universe and what it will all mean when "Discovery" comes out.

Here is a chance for you to come and speak about the canon trauma you are experiencing and talk about your feelings you might be having. Problems sleeping because of dreams of new klingons on the TOS bridge or a "Discovery" with a matte painting for a warp core. Perhaps a internal struggle to figure out if you should unlearn the Klingon language or burn your old starfleet uniform in a costume funeral so you can get hold of of one of the new and thus real starfleet uniforms from "Discovery."

Just let out your emotions and nobody will judge you. Everyone will show you respect and love. I will start it off by saying my canon trauma is starting to impact my ability to pretend like everyone in "Generations" was simply in the process of switching over to the new uniforms. The canon trauma though keeps making me think bad thoughts that maybe they didn't have a enough costumes to go around they were just using all the uniforms to help fill out all the extra's or maybe they didn't have enough money to create new uniforms in their budget.

And we don't even have to spend any effort knowing which is which, because Paramount helpfully tells us each time. As the fact all of them come in distinct media wasn't enough to tell, movies, television, books and a game.

But if anyone insists Sonic Boom is a legitimate second canon to the franchise, I will bury them where no one will ever find the bodies.

My personal canon is whatever I say it is. After all, even TPTB disavowed "Threshold."

And since I won't be able to watch Discovery, I've stopped giving much of a damn about it. After all, the last series that I considered true to Star Trek in any form was Voyager, and the last movie that wasn't Star-Trek-in-name-only was Nemesis.
