The ''BURGER'' King insults mexico!

So if the Burger King king was a character in the next Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter, Mexico would be doubly offended!

Why not? As Americans we make fun of Canada all the time, we should be fair and make fun of Mexico too.

Oh give me a break, Lucha Libre is a celebrated institution in Mexico, it's frequently made fun of in a light hearted way by all kinds of media. They didn't notice the stereotypical cowboy? Surely some Americans are offended at being portrayed as lanky farm hands yes?

"Improperly used the sterotype image of a Mexican"? Is there a proper way to use the stereotype? Are those just reserved for the Mexico Dept. of Tourism commericals?

So, just curious, why are these 2 posts exactly the same?

Yeah, I did a double take on that as well.

On topic though I think Mexican government is being a tad overly dramatic. The description doesn't imply any disrespect to Mexico or its citizens based on the write up in that piece. It seems to show to me a unifying and collaborative will with the lanky cowpoke American that is being sterotyped. I'm sure if it wasn't a wrestler in flag colors but a farmhand in a sombrero they would be equally upset "just because".
The Mexican government and its people need to worry more about the drug cartel problem and not silly ads that actually show you in a positive friendly light.
