The Birds are Gay!

Well, that's just a bunch of atheistic scientists trying to force their liberal agenda on us.

got a couple of cockrels at work i'm sure they are gay one was trying to hatch a stone for weeks until it gave up so i'm not surrised the penguins are too.
had a gay cat once, it kept trying to mount the nieghbours tom cat, it ddnt like that i can tell you:)

This is oooooold news. In fact, one of my favorite children's books, Tango Makes Three is all about the gay penguins, Roy and Silo, and their adopted chick, Tango.
Sounds about the same story as the children's book of Jack and Joe have a daughter (or something to the same effect) that was a "big deal" in schools all over Scandinavia back in the seventies where gay relationships were actually considered strange.

David Attenborough should do a documentary about Homosexual animals. That would be great. :D

Well, humans ARE animals when it comes down to it.
We are classified as mammals after all.
The only difference between other animals and ourselves is that we were able to develop complex technology, and other things in comparison to other animals.

I understand that there are people who would simply say that just because animals do something, we don't need to because we are 'better' than them.
Great ... then I suppose we should eliminate sex (substitute procreation with artificial one and not experience the pleasures of sex ... because according to some people, sex is ONLY for procreation), aggressive behavior from most of the population, disputes over territory/resources and not fighting for members of the same or opposite sex to demonstrate our affection (which happens in everyday life in case you didn't know).

Man ... with all this talk that we should not behave like animals, numerous people eat those words 5 mins later.
The people who contradict themselves are the worst and in the end deny it.

OT:
Very old news (at least from my perspective).
I'm afraid though that homosexual behavior among other types of animals (not just in humans) simply won't be enough evidence for idiots who don't perceive homosexuality as 'natural'.
I say that they are idiots because they have a tendency of ignoring their own numerous aspects that are very 'animalistic' and behaving ultimately as hypocrites (repeating myself there).

If anything, this particular article shows that other homosexual animals are apparently capable of caring/raising young-lings without issues.
The article also stated that both male penguins weren't interested in the opposite sex and were outright refusing female companionship when offered.
Other females weren't interested in them BECAUSE those two males already made it clear on where their affections lie (with each other).

This isn't anything new. There is evidence of homosexuality in almost every species that reproduces sexually: link. This article has been updated with this story, but I already pointed out that there's nothing unnatural about homosexuality in the same-sex marriage thread. Naturally all the people who claimed so ignored all evidence showing the contrary.
