Well.. the last few episodes were a huge train accident waiting to happen between Penny, Leonard and Priya and this episode put some speed in it.. this one is going to get ugly at the season finale at the latest (and it doesn't bode well for Priya since she's been depicted now as controlling and a bit manipulative.. something Penny never was).

True but she should also know that Leonard is not the type to cheat and above all should not have him do it. Rather talk about it and bring it into the open and make Leonard realize that she's got a problem with it.

However she commanded him and that doesn't sit well with me.

Lots of people from all sorts of countries can do multiple things from the Karma Sutra. It's a guidebook. Not limited to Indians.

Leonard got too serious too fast, Penny got cold feet, and Evil Wil Wheaton convinced her that she was going to break Leonard's heart if she let things go on any further . . . .

I love BBT. It's my favorite comedy.

However she commanded him and that doesn't sit well with me.

Um, it's just a sit com. Her 'command' leads to comedic situaltions and jokes in the episode. All plot points are for the sake of the humor. Maybe it would sit better with you if lightened up and didn't try to dramatize a comedy so much. Don't take it so seriously!

Obviously the writers want Priya's attitude towards Penny and Leonard to rub the viewers the wrong way. They want us to be happy when she and Leonard break up.
