That was remarkably average for a season finale.

Aside from the guys being at the north pole for the summer, the overall story could've been dropped into any other episode at any point during the season. I'm not one who needs a cliffhanger each season, but this was a little TOO subdued for my tastes. The comedic elements seemed forced and were not as strong as they were in other episodes this season either.

I said ABOVE AVERAGE but only just barely. It gets that due to the extra sentiment of Penny leaning on the door saying, "It means I don't want you to go." Also cause of Howards mom on speaker phone, "I thought you said Arkansas."

Otherwise it was fairly average. I did like the movie suggestion of watching The Thing! We didn't get the "Ah, we're out of ice" line that the teasers showed though.

Still even AVERAGE Big Bang Theory is better than 90% of other TV. Can't wait for next season.
