Howard and Leonard in a bar was just painful. They need to be careful to keep Howard from being to pathetic. I actually think Leonard would have had a shot if he wasn't following Howard's lead.

That was a nice touch, and arguing over Batman instead, even better.

Howard was over the top but I thought it was too funny to mind. If you spot one with a seeing eye dog, she's mine. I liked when he tried the accent to no avail.

I really liked this episode. While even an average TBBT is better than a lot on TV this episode was one of the best in a while.

I also agree that Penny was likely only going to try some making out with him. After all we know she and Leonard went out and he didn't get laid. Therefore calling Penny easy is not only unfair its wrong based on what we know.

Robin on HIMYM though is I agree.

It was definately DC heaven...

But I have to say; with the muliverse back again, I am happy. I loved the different earths back in the day. The JLA/JSA crossovers were an annual tradition that made each summer fun to look forward to

I don't know if that's true. I just think she went slow with Ted because his commitment issues creeped her out. She didn't want anything long term, just wanted something quick and easy.

Though I do agree that she puts out pretty easy now. The naked man?!? Really?

God, weren't those great? I still miss those, especially when they'd bring a third team into it like the Legion of Super-Heroes, the Freedom Fighters, or the Earth-S characters.

She is indeed. But don't forget, back in episode one, she was basically ready to sleep with Ted on the first date, and it was only his "I love you" that (quite understandably) turned her off. I don't really think it's a retcon.

Other guys were hitting on her, too, and were getting rebuffed. Some of 'em were jerky, too (e.g., Alexis Denisof's anchorman character) -- and in the last season or two, jerky has not been something that would put her off.

Did everything but mention Battle for the Cowl by name. Don't know why since they mentioned Infinite Crisis and 52 by name along with Hellblazer. I guess its a WB produced show? Hence all the Flash and GL shirts.
I don't recall a single Marvel character being mentioned to date on the show.

Captain Sweatpants did have on a Captain America shirt though.
Since I loathe the BND Spidey I was so hoping for a massive diss on that retcon debacle.
