^ That entire conversation reminded me of a similar discussion I had with my brother when I was twelve and he thirteen.
And I too almost gave this one an average. I just wasn't feeling it... until the last five minutes. That, at least for me, is some classic television. When Sheldon was awestruck at the napkin I was laughing pretty hard but when he came rolling around the corner carrying all those freakin baskets and says "these just aren't enough" I was crying. But the weird hug came along and I was trying hard not to pee myself. And being someone with OCD, I know how hard that was for Sheldon so it made it even funnier.
And those last five minutes alone bumped a hum drum episode about Leonard and Penny's romantic slap-fighting into a whole other level; Above Average.
God, I love this show though. With or without Penny, you could give me thirty minutes of the boys sitting around the coffee table or in the lab's cafeteria and I would still be watching. (I also get all the geek/nerd/spaze/science/trekkie/sci-fi jokes so who needs some silly romance to clutter things up anyway.
