The Best and Worse of Ten

I disliked any time he acted like an intergalactic Timmy Mallet which unfortunately was more often than not.

Who?

BEST:

His big speech when he finally wakes up in "The Christmas Invasion." "There's more to see than can ever be seen; more to do- Wait. Sorry, that's The Lion King."

His reunion with Sarah Jane Smith in "School Reunion."

Trying to figure out how to say goodbye to Rose in case he doesn't survive in "The Satan Pit."

The whole John Smith thing in "Human Nature"/"The Family of Blood," especially at the end when John Smith realizes that he needs to kill himself to become the Doctor again. I also love the bit at the end when John Smith's former love interest asks, "If the Doctor hadn't decided to come here on a whim, would anyone here have died?"

The end of "Voyage of the Damned" when he can't come to terms with being unable to save Astrid. "I can do anything!"

His flashback in "The Unicorn & the Wasp" where he talks about saving Charlemaigne from an insane computer.

Taking him so totally out of his comfort zone in "Midnight."

His disappointment at meeting a future self that doesn't remember him in "The Next Doctor."

The part where the detective tries to arrest him at the end of "Planet of the Dead." "Right... I'll just go lock myself in this police box then..."

WORST:

Jesus-Doctor at the end of "Last of the Time Lords."

His hypocritical self-description as "the man who never would" at the end of "The Doctor's Daughter."
