Why are we even comparing Star Trek to the MCU? I guess they're both on film and long-running series that spawned spinoffs, but I mean... so was the Oprah Winfrey Show, for 2 decades. Maybe she's the leadership Star Trek needs?

Maybe because the 'leadership' of the MCU has fired a lot of creative people they put in charge of ip at certain points as well and the person is confused?
