In our noble quest to bash an entire form based on a couple examples, let's remember that the segment in Community is satirizing only a specific genre of anime, the 1980s Saturday morning action cartoon.

It's like citing Filmation to bash all of Western animation, from 1920s Disney and Warner Bros. to modern day Pixar.
