As much as I thought it paled in comparison to COD4, MW2 does deserve to be somewhere on that list.

Pretty good list overall, though. Glad to see games have become mainstream enough that the two "best of 2009" lists posted in this forum aren't total embarrassments like they have been in the past.

The one that seems most out of place is inFamous. I know it was a good game, but there were several games in that vein this year.

I'd have put Modern Warfare 2 in that slot.

^ See I wasn't saying MW2 shouldn't be in the top 10, I was just saying that just because it sold so well doesn't mean it should be in the top 10. If you think it should be in the top 10 because you really liked the game I have no problem with that.

Ahh apologies. Yes I do feel it should be in there. It is a great game. First person kind of wasn't long enough but.. Multi player is awesome. And given the social aspect that gaming is becoming I think that shortcoming is okay.

^ I can definitely respect that. I enjoyed the first MW to a degree. The SP campaign was decent, but I don't really care much for MP. I haven't played MW2 yet... I might get it once I can find it at 50% off.
