I always wanted to go whale-watching, but my wife, who spent 23 yeas in the US Navy / Navy Reserves, gets seasick. Even the Maid Of The Mist tour boat at Niagara Falls was too much for her.

I always wanted to go whale-watching, but my wife, who spent 23 yeas in the US Navy / Navy Reserves, gets seasick. Even the Maid Of The Mist tour boat at Niagara Falls was too much for her.

Luckily, it’s usually pretty calm out here south of Oahu — maybe once or twice a year we have to cancel for bad weather/seas.

Still, we carry a ready supply of Barf Bags onboard handy, just in case. Plus, I know a few tricks from my USCG time that seem to work for people that are ‘green around the gills’… ;-)

My point being, in other words — If you’re ever over here visiting, hop onboard! We can take care of her if need be.
