So I had kind of a fasacinating discovery today. I ran into a lady walking her horse on lead out on the street during my bike ride, and she let me cover and pet. She was a fleabitten gray mare, which for those who don't know, look like this:

The thing I found interesting, was as I got closer to her, the brown blended in to the gray, to the point that by the time I was close enough to pet her, you could barely see any brown. It was almost like a picture that starts out real crisp and clear from distance, but them gets blurrier and blurrier as you get closer.
I know I mentioned this in another post, but I just cannot get over how soft and thick horses' winter coats are. I swear they are some of the softest things I have ever touched in my life.
