That's a lotta crabs

I don't think this crab appreciated having a video taken of them.

Oh, sorry about that then.
Here's a little bit of an education post for everyone. This is actually a part of horse care that I just recently learned about on Instagram, floating their teeth.

That would likely totally f-up trying to look a horse in the mouth, to estimate it's age. ;)

I think she probably did, if he needed it, these ladies seem to take good care of their horses.
I've been pretty impressed with what I've seen at both the stables and riding club, the horses all seem to be in pretty good shape, and the people I've seen seem to treat them really good. These ladies I run into the most are from the riding club.

The fact that I've been pretty impressed with both places, makes it kinda hard to pick which one to go to if I do decide to take riding lessons. I kinda lean towards the riding club, just because I'd be curious to see if I get any kind of reaction from the ladies I've met if they saw me riding there.

A Friesian filly compilation.

OK, I'm a little confused. I thought female horses were fillies when they are babies, but these girls were 3 years old. So when are they no longer fillies and just mares?

From Wiki:
A filly is a female horse that is too young to be called a mare. There are two specific definitions in use: In most cases, a filly is a female horse under four years old. In some nations, such as the United Kingdom and the United States, the world of horse racing sets the cutoff age for fillies as five.

Variable, but 3 years seems to be OK for the term.
